The two most inspiring tattoo artists are: Hannah Snowdon and Grace Neutral
The above image is of Hannah Snowdon and done by Grace Neutral. |

I have been interested in the work of Hannah Snowdon (and Grace Neutral) for many, many years. I really adore the hand-and-poke method they use because I think it gives such a beautiful finish as appose to machine done tattoos. Hannah Snowdon is based in Sheffield, but from Doncaster. She is a huge inspiration to me since she's made a huge name for herself. Although, you could argue her popularity has increased only because she is with a band member from a big 'popular' post-core/metal core/death core band. Despite that and before she was with Oliver Sykes; Hannah Snowdon's work has always been a big inspiration. It has inspired me to draw in the style I currently do (dot work). It's really difficult to make a booking at her tattoo shop (based in Drop Dead in Sheffield named black stabbath and it's extremely beautiful inside!) Along side her tattooing, she does art work and sells it on and also does a lot of charity work! Here's some of her work:
I found out about Grace Neutral slightly before Hannah Snowdon: Then I found out they're friends which was strange and coincidental. She also didn't have her own work-space until recently. Grace worked in a tattoo shop in London called Good Times Tattoo but now you have to email her for bookings which is pretty sucky because now it's EXTREMELY limited access due to how many people want tattooing by her. She also does hand and poke, which is an added bonus because she also does machine work. Here's some of her work:
I am interested in this particular two artists because I think they're both incredible people. I love both their styles although they're very similar.
