Paint by numbers progression shared with Beth

The above images are of us trying out different shapes hat symbolise hair and beauty. We came to the conclusion that an eye would be the most relevant and best idea for our final piece because it symbolises beauty. You apply make-up to the HAIR of the eye in which we call eye-lashes, therefore it is the most relevant to be used. We figured, if we were to do something with an eye, we could do pretty fixtures bordering the work! We tested a few out:

We figured out how we would situate the middle focus of the eye. We came up with idea of having it in a simple heart to represent Hair and Beauty's passion for their course. We and made everything relatively curved, to show elegance. Our final piece looked like this.

We coloured up our ow individual way to see how different colours work with the composition. Over-all, we discovered that  by using light colours and then darker colours for the centre eye; works best.
