Crosby beach is the local beach in which we shall visit due to its art sculpture format. It's sculptures are facing the sea which can have various depictions and I find extremely intriguing. As the above image shows, they are relatively tall because they're modelled on Gormley's extract figure. Gormley has created multiple sculptures and pieces, which are typically made from metal. The metal is sustainable and these sculptures, accumulated over time, are durable enough to be handled on a regular basis from the general public (as appose to your typical sculpture in a gallery which may not be as durable.) This will influence my work as it will give me an initial idea of how the body is structured ounces sculptured. Although I do not intend on creating my own sculpture, I do plan to use my research on Gormley to influence certain aspects (mainly due to his deep-meaningful approach to his work.)

The Spaces at the Bluecoat gallery
All around the above room in BlueCoat gallery, is an accumulation of portraits. On the page you can see the entire room on a 'street-view' format. It will most likely influence my style as on the room viewer, the portraits aren't your typical style. I am very looking forwards to having a look at them.
