First attempt of creating polaroid -- HOAX TYPE IMAGE

As it stands currently, I am already enjoying this. I love photography and I love playing with images a lot, so this is right up my street. I am still coming to terms with photoshop because I don't typically use it, but I am slowly getting better!

I decided to brighten the image and play around with the different settings so I could find which looked more 70's. I figured that (with a few google searches) the Polaroids created in the 70's were typically faded, over exposed (or really dull and noisy) so I tried to grasp that through different types of settings.

After deciding I wanted it a rather pink tinted image with dull greens and yellows, I added noise to give it a more retro feel.

But after deciding to put the actual image into a Polaroid frame, I found it to look still really "new". So I added more noise and used a speckle tool with a "dirty yellow" colour, so it looked like somebody had stuck cello tape on it and then removed it after 30 years, had their sticky fingers on it and smudged the ink. However, I also found this made the spaceship look as though it was barely noticeable! This therefore achieving what I want: for it to look that unnoticeable that it genuinely looks there in the image.

I did the same to the one of the church. The church image looked even more 70's, with a lot of Red saturation with bold green tinted bushes and a slight bit of noise. The power lines look like the image is slightly damaged and I added the mucky yellow for the previous intention too. I like that the space ship looks like it's disappearing behind the church but I could've made it a lot more subtle!

Here's the final 2 results!
