My view on Bradford Uni
I wasn't overly impressed by the uni; mainly because I have been to others and have a better outlook on others, but it wasn't disappointing. It was very informative and I was especially intrigued into their course selection, however, they didn't have the course I'm looking for anyway. Despite them not having my course; aesthetically the site was pretty standard with slightly impressive architecture but nothing overly impressive. I did enjoy the tour and everything seemed pretty organised! It just isn't the uni I'm going to be considering in the future and a lot of the students didn't look overly impressed to be there.
Museums
The 1st museum, in Bradford was a great media museum with a lot of exciting rooms full of intriguing places. I really enjoyed; the history of the internet, the TV room where you can experience the history of the TV industry and the real-life-experience of being on TV. I did also like the history of TV episodes; meeting a dalek; the cinema room; (I didn't like that you had to pay for the arcade haha) and many other aspects of the museum. I would definitely consider visiting again and the café was brilliantly constructed. The following images are of the lovely media museum:
The Hepworth Gallery was pretty boring. I probably should have found it a lot more interesting considering how much I adore visiting museums; but this one was plain and I found it pretty average. Although, I was tired and pretty mardy and probably could have acknowledged more and probably had more opinions on the pieces, but I only found a few pieces that I found good. Even then, I didn't find anything astonishing as such except for the bin-bag figures and the figures in the preservative.
The over-all day was pleasant, even though I did not like the uni.
