The final Live Drawing

My chosen material was paint. I tried a more abstract style as appose to my previous work with paint. But, however, I did chose to take the vorticist approach and I did blend in a similar way! I tried to capture the shape but then transform it into a more structured, with only slight curves.
This image is probably my favourite one from today's final session. Although it isn't the greatest, it is still pretty structured and I stuck to what I intended to do. I showed the shape, form and the shadow through using paint and my hands and straight edges. I really like how structured it turned out and I do wish I could have finished it and completed it entirely.
I feel as though the others did not turn out as well as I intended. However, I did over-use red as a kind'a experiment because I was intrigued as to what it would look like darker! I do like how, when seen close up, how it looks and how the paint almost stands off the painting. Everything is relatively in proportion too.
Others may beg to differ, but I like this one. I really like how I have shown the shape and how I have changed the curved edges to straight but still slightly made them curved. I really like that I have shown the shadow a lot more too, because I think it has made it turn out slightly better. But, i would have carried it on and it would have progressed because; despite it being 'ok', it isn't my best. I could've progressed...But it's ok.
